Phoenix Rodeo
I hope people are getting as excited about the 2012 rodeo season as I am. Looking forward to being in phoenix and seeing all of you .
I’m also really excited about the 4 rodeo school sponsored by Bud Light that IGRA promoting this year. B sure to tell all of your friends about them. What a great way to learn how to rodeo.

2012 Officers Retreat
Just finishing up the 2012 IGRA officer retreat. Thanks to Larry Lindstrom and John Beck for opening your home to us and thanks for the dusting of snow. This desert rat doesn’t get to see the white stuff very often.
Also thanks to Larry, David and Gene for all the hard work yesterday pouring over the 2012 budget and working through the proposed allocation of the 2012 Bud Light Sponsorship money.
I’m very excited to be continuing our relationship with Bud Light as they come on board as the presenting sponsor for IGRA University, IGRA Dance Competition, WGRF, the 2012 Royalty Competition and the 2012 IGRA Convention! My thoughts.

Today I struggled.
When we decided to launch our new look for the website, we wanted to show that gay rodeo has something to offer to everyone. I wanted the site to leverage all this new technology to show the fun and exciting side of IGRA.
Little did I know that the first use of the new website’s ability to quickly post announcements would be to mourn the loss of great friends.
I contemplated not posting the announcements, but quickly remembered what it is that we take pride in, and something I mention in almost all press interviews…we are a family, and families lose loved ones and need a way to mourn their passing and… Continue reading
