I am, a born and bred Texan! Originally from Waco, I moved to Fort Worth, in 1992 to obtain a Bachelor in Arts in Kinesiology degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. I began working behind the scenes for various charities in 1990 up until I joined TGRA in 2015. I have served as secretary for the Fort Worth Chapter and am now serving as President. I began competing in our rodeos two years ago in the chute dogging event, earning my first buckle at the Show Me State Rodeo in 2016. I am currently learning other events such as steer deco and wild drag in hopes of competing more in the years to come. It has been an exciting year for me as I am currently reigning as Ms. TGRA 2017. I look forward to supporting the IGRA organization and traveling the rodeo circuit!
