(Anthony Michael Lumpkins)
Anthony Michael Lumpkins was born to Holly and Edward Lumpkins on February 2, 1993. He was raised out in the small country town of Springtown, Texas, where he attended and graduated from the Springtown School District. He is the oldest of 3, having a younger sister, Ashley, and brother, Jonathon. During high school, he was a member and participated in many organizations within the school, including Ag, the Future Farm-ers of America (FFA), French Club, and his favorite marching band. He was also an Honors student, with straight A's and many academic achievement awards.
After graduating high school, Anthony attended Tarrant County College where he studied basics and aviation and then went on to pursue his life-long dream of becoming a pilot. During this time, he also became a certified storm chaser.
Today, he resides in Richardson, Texas where he works as a Production Technician for Coca-Cola. He is very active within his home association TGRA as well as IGRA, helping out any way he can. He also likes to compete in multiple events in the rodeo.
Anthony enjoys spending time with his family, especially his 3 nieces and nephews, hanging out with his friends and rodeo family, competing in rodeos, and fundraising. He loves to cook - the Betty Crocker of the 2000's. He has a passion for aviation, technology, and severe weather. (Yes he chases tornadoes.) He also loves to travel as much as he can.
Anthony believes that he is the loving and caring man he is to-day because of his grandmother Brenda. Before losing his grandmother to lung cancer when he was only 12 years old, she bestowed to him her passion for caring for others and always having a heart as big as Texas. Tonight is dedicated to his grandma.
Anthony would like to specially thank his mom and dad for always being such supportive and loving parents to him, always there with open arms. He would also like to thank Marcus "Boogie" Hood and Tim "Tessy" Smith for showing him the world of Gay Rodeo. He wouldn't be on this stage right now if it wasn't for you two.
