(Russel Giggles Storm)
Russell "Giggles" Storm is 40 year olds and the current Mr. NSGRA 2019. He is from Eugene, OR and moved to Minneapolis, MN for Graduate School in 2010. A few years after he graduated he found the North Star Gay Rodeo Association where he rediscover his country roots. Even though he grow up in Western Oregon his mom's side of the family is from Eastern Oregon where rodeo is a lifestyle for many, including his family.
Finding the NSGRA brought back lots of good memories of his childhood. Given that Giggles is not very athletically inclined, he still wanted to support the NSGRA in other way besides competing. He volunteered to help at the North Star Regional Rodeo in 2016. A couple years later he volunteered to be the Event/Fundraising Chair of the NSGRA board where he loves creating events that brings money in for the 2020 NSGRA Regional Rodeo and it's charity partners that are through out the Twin Cities. Giggles is also a member of the Imperial Court of Minnesota, North Star Kennel Club, Black Guard of Minneapolis, and a Mr. Minneapolis Eagle. Giggles loves bring all members of his community together for a good ole fashion shindig.
Over past year Giggles has volunteered for the Arena Crew at the Zia Regional Rodeo in New Mexico, and the Big Horn Region Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV, and he has definitely found a new home in IGRA!
